Inquire and Schedule a Visit
We understand the importance of choosing a school that feels right for you and your family. Please ask us your questions, come for a visit, and find out what we do at Leila Day. We want to help you understand what is important to us and what we believe is important for children so you feel informed when you make a decision about Leila Day.

A tour of our school and outdoor space is a required part of the admissions process. Tours are a time for families to visit us and see Leila Day in action. This is an opportunity to meet with a member of our administrative staff and gain an understanding of our philosophy and practices in order to know what the Leila Day experience will mean for you and your child. You can get answers to any questions you have about Leila Day and learn what you can expect as a family in the Leila Day community. Click here to inquire and schedule a visit.

Apply
Applications can be submitted beginning in October for the following year.
It is best to apply before the end of December for fall enrollment of the following year. We do not charge an application fee, and submitting an application does not obligate you in any way.

Click here to complete an application.

Please note that children must be at least 2 years and 9 months old by September 1st of the year for which they are applying. For example, if you are applying for 2018-2019 enrollment, your child must be at least 3 years old by December 31, 2018.

Attend our Open House
This year our annual Open House is Saturday, November 4th from 9am – Noon.
We encourage all prospective families to attend, as our Open House is an opportunity for you to visit the school with your child. This is a chance for you to:
– Speak with teachers and current parents
– Tour the school and visit the classrooms
– Learn more about the individual programs, school philosophy, curriculum and other program details
– Give your child the chance to make a memory at Leila Day that you can refer back to as you move through the application and enrollment process

If you are applying for financial aid, we do ask that you submit financial information early in the process. Without financial information on record, contracts are written at the top of our sliding fee scale, and having your information early in the process allows us to award our limited amount of financial assistance fairly across our pool of applicants.

Contracts
Contracts are sent electronically to new families in February and we ask for them to be returned promptly. Since we often receive more applications than available spaces, some children are offered a place on our active wait list.
